Through her art, Byun invites viewers to reflect on the dimension that is created when seemingly small dots are connected. Her work suggests that, just as each stitch in a garment contributes to its overall beauty and functionality, each small action in our lives can contribute to something much larger and more significant.
Byun's series encourages us to cherish the seemingly insignificant moments in our lives, as they can contribute to a beautiful and meaningful larger picture.
Materials used: mixed media on Korean traditional paper (Jangji) and wood panel
